Pioneers to the Planets: The Amazing 2-inch Universe!

Wrap your mind around the vast distances in the universe at the Boynton Beach City Library and the Schoolhouse Children�s Museum. NASA-certified instructor, Erich Landstrom will lead the exploration by shrinking cosmic scale in 4 steps, zooming out from the realm of the Earth and Moon to the realm of the galaxies. Education Director Mario Aguilar will tell stories of pioneers to the planets and offer youth arts and crafts projects. At 8:00 pm, attendees will walk across the street to the Schoolhouse Children�s Museum and look at Jupiter and its moons through the museum�s CPC 800 XLT Telescope.

Get up close and personal with live reptiles and amphibians! Bring your pre-k kids ages 2 - 5 to learn about our scaly friends in a program offered by Green Cay Nature Center. Program fee is in addition to admission to the Museum.

2nd Annual Spooky Schoolhouse Carnival!

The Spooky Schoolhouse Carnival is back for its second year of fun and prizes! On October 18th and 19th, from 11 am until 7 pm both days, the Museum on Ocean Avenue will transform into an old-fashioned carnival, complete with a trackless train, ponies, music, crafts, games, face painting, concessions, and baked goods. There will be costumes parades each day, and each evening will feature a special live dance performance by a member of Hip-notic Dance Company! Admission is $ 3 per person for ages 2 and up. Activity tickets are available for purchase for .50� each, and two free tickets will be given to every guest in costume.
