MUSEUM CLOSED TEMPORARILY

To our Schoolhouse Museum families and guests,
With the continuing growth of COVID-19 in the state, and based on guidelines issued by the federal and state health agencies regarding social distancing and avoiding group gatherings, we have made the difficult decision to close the Children’s Museum temporarily.
This is not a decision we came to lightly, however, the Board of Directors determined it was best to act with an abundance of caution in order to protect our museum guests as well as our staff.
We realize this decision may disappoint many people who looked forward to spending time with us; however, the cost of not doing so could have serious negative results.
We plan to reopen the museum as soon as it is considered safe to do so. We will make that decision based on recommendations from local, state and federal health officials.
Thank you for your understanding.
