SCHOOLHOUSE CHILDREN’S MUSEUM ADMISSION POLICY

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to strive for the safety of our patrons.  The Schoolhouse is open Tuesdays through Saturdays.
 
The Museum operates Tuesday through Saturday, at a limited capacity. We highly recommend advanced reservations.
  • The Museum has a limited capacity.  Visitors to the Schoolhouse Museum are asked to schedule their visit by reserving the day and time of their visit.
  • If the Museum is full at the time of your arrival and you do not have a reservation, your party will be placed on a waiting list.
  • All visitors and members may obtain an online ticket to enter the Museum . Members receive free ticket registrations for each timed entry window. 
  • Hours are  9:00 am to 12:30pm.  We close from 12:30pm – 1:00 pm for cleaning and resetting, and reopen from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm.

VISITATION POLICY

  • The wearing of masks is optional.
  • The Museum will continue other protocols currently in place such as cleaning/sanitizing procedures. 
  • Schoolhouse staff sanitizes the Museum and loose parts daily.
  • The Schoolhouse provides sanitation wipes and hand sanitizer at various locations within the Museum for visitor use.
  • Inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. Visitors to the Schoolhouse Children’s Museum voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
  • Please note, COVID-19 has not been eradicated.                                                                                                
Refund Policy*
To request a refund for a missed play session reservation, please note that you have 15 days from the date of the missed reservation to do so. It may take up to 72 hours to process your request. Refund requests should be sent via email to  info@schoolhousemuseum.org  
When submitting your refund request, please include the following information in your email:
  • The name the reservation is under
  • The date you purchased it
  • The date you reserved
  • Your phone numbers
Providing us with this information will help us process your request as quickly and efficiently as possible.

ADULTS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A CHILD TO GAIN ENTRANCE TO THE SCHOOLHOUSE CHILDREN’S MUSEUM

Photography Permission Policy: Periodically, the Museum takes photographs and video of Museum visitors and activities for use in promotional and educational materials. With admission to Museum, you give permission to the Museum for the recording of photographs and/or video of yourself and your dependents. You grant the Museum all rights to use these images for educational, promotional, advertising and other opportunities that advance the overall mission of the Museum. Please notify the Front Desk or call (561) 742-6780 if you do not consent to this policy.
